What’s Your Passion?

Are you living your passion? What did you want to be when you were a kid? Are you living that now?

After performing my show In Search of O in different cities – which is about waiting until marriage at 27 to have sex and the fantasy vs the reality of that experience- it opened up the line of communication that has always been taboo for some households, including my own. Because I was so transparent about my first time at 27, and my awkward search for what I thought was the big “O,” the audience wanted to tell their story. Hence, after each show, I created a platform for them to do so without judgement. It was exciting and liberating! My honesty helped people to walk away feeling free to tell their truth. Some laughed, some cried. What we learned- we are not alone.

What’s my passion? Encouraging people to tell their truth through humor. There is so much pressure today about sex and relationships, having to be perfect, and having to be what we see on tv in order to be loved. It’s a lot of stress for both women and men. My passion you ask? I found what Oprah calls the “Aha moment.” Michael Jordan calls it “being in the zone.” I call it “walking in my calling.” Check out my burning passion.
