This month was busy all because I threw it out there!  On Facebook, February 23rd, I posted a message that said, “I would like to do an independent film, just thought I would throw it out there.” 4 weeks later, someone reached out to me about an indie film and 5 days later, I was on a plane to Dallas to shoot the film for 3 weeks. My character’s name is Faith in a movie called, Steps of Faith where Tracey Ross (Passions) and Ted Lange (Love Boat) play my parents.

Since, I was a kid, I always threw things I wanted out into the universe. I remember when I needed a photographer, I focused on it everyday. The next week, I ran into photographers everywhere! Even when I was driving down the streets of LA, photographers would throwtheir cards into my car and say, “I am a photographer, I would love to shoot you.” Finally, photographer, Tim Alexander stopped me & said he not only wanted to shoot me but do my website as well. That website became so popular in the tv/film industry, I would have random people stop me and say, “I loved your photos on your website. I would love to put you in my upcoming project.”

I remember wanting to meet Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. I focused on that for 2 months. I didn’t personally meet them but they hired me on their show! The role I booked was already offered to another actress but after my audition, they gave me the role and offered the other actress another character on a different episode.

What is it that you need to throw out there and believe you will get it/achieve it? I just finished a book called The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho. I had the audio book for years but never listened to it and I finally did this week. The book confirmed for me what happened for me this month. It was a reminder that when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. My challenge for you is to write the vision down on paper & focus on it. Throw it out there. I had a vision that took a year, but it happened because I believed it. I had faith.
