Happy Holidays! Happy December! Happy Happy Ho! Ho! Ho! Hope these last few days have been wonderful for you, those of you who celebrate during this time of the year.

I came across this picture from my 6th grade Christmas musical play called “Mrs. Claus.” I was 11 years old. There were a lot of roles in this play but I was determined to be Mrs. Claus. So, I borrowed the musical play book (without the teacher knowing it), took it home that night and memorized every single line and song that Mrs. Claus had in the 90 page musical play. I visualized being on stage playing Mrs. Claus. I could barely sleep cause I could see everything like it was real!

I woke up the next day with nothing but Mrs. Claus’ lines on my brain. We were auditioning. It came down to two of us- the other girl was a professional actress at 5! She had an agent in California and everything! (We lived in Las Vegas). But I wanted it. I remember the teachers who were judging the auditions whispering- “Chrystee has all the lines memorized! Wow!” I could tell they were struggling to make a choice but they did and I got the role! I was Mrs. Claus! The other girl had more experience than I did, but I was determined to be Mrs. Claus. They did reward the other girl by giving her a solo song during intermission.

2014 is all about determination. Visualizing what you want and going after it. NO fear, No doubt! Determination. Persistence. Dedication. Self-Discipline.  Go after your goal, your dream and be determined to be victorious! You can do it! I am looking forward to hearing about your progress.
